Vikram Shenoy

About Me

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Northeastern University. I am currently working with one of Amazon's Alexa Secure AI Foundation (SAIF-Data) teams as a Software Development Engineer.

I have prior experience in software development through my 4-month internship with Amazon’s Alexa AI division. This internship gave me the necessary experience for processing data using a cloud-based prototype. I gained a deep understanding of AWS services and how they’re implemented along with insight as to how code gets deployed to production.

I gained first-hand research experience in Machine Learning after I got the opportunity to work as a research intern at the University of Groningen in the Fall of 2018. I worked on a novel feature selection method based on ensemble learning under the supervision of Dr. George Azzopardi. My research at the institute has been converted into a research paper published in the expert systems journal.
